Show Modena Cafe Operator Dies in Car Accident J A Modona cafe operator was 1 killed Wednesday, March Hi, in a one-ear rollover west of Modena on Utah Highway !"(!. The victim was Gerald K. Fair-clough, Fair-clough, 37, operator of Garden Valley Inn just outside of Modena. Mo-dena. Investigating officers report re-port that the car ran off the highway and then rolled over. Funeral services were held in Modena Saturday, under the direction di-rection of Rev. Egertson of Las Vegas and Rev. Carl Parrish of the Beryl Baptist Church. Burial was in the Modena cemetery. Mr. Fairclough was a son of Vaughn and Eileen Fairclough of Las Vegas. He was born April 6, 1929 at Madison, Wisconsin. Ik-married Ik-married Delores Zobel on Oct. 20, 1919. Surviving are his parents, Las Vegas; his widow, and four children, Rickey, Debora, Gary and Gale, Modena; two brothers and a sister, Gene Fairclough, Henderson, Nev.; Pat Fairclough, and Mrs. Mary Richardson, Las Vegas. Mr. Fairclough served in the U. S. Navy through 1946 to 1948. He and his family moved to Modena Mo-dena about six months ago. The funeral program included a vocal solo, "Yellow Bird," by Bud Owens of Las Vegas, and a vocal duet, "Beyond The Sunset," by LaRee Pollock and Ruby Stewart Stew-art of Enterprise; a reading by Barbara Laub, sermon by Rev. Egerson, and the obituary by Rev. Parrish. . |
