Top-ham Top-ham aad members of their family fam-ily traveled north on Thursday for the week end. They visited in . Brigham City and Salt Lake City I with the Douglas Miller and Har-'old Har-'old Sweek families. The Top-ham's Top-ham's foster daughter, Clara Mae Allison, also got to see her brothers bro-thers who are in Ogden and Pro-vo. Pro-vo. Ronald Topham returned to Paragonah with his family and will look for employment in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robb and two of their youngsters were here from Salt Lake City for the week nd with the Walter Robbs. They brought Mrs. Irene Robinson Robin-son home with them after her stay in the city. Chester Robinson made a business bus-iness trip to Salt Lake City last week for his employers, the Utah Construction Co. Members of his family were fortunate to contact and spend some time with an uncle. Alec Robb of Idaho Falls, who also happened to be in the city last week. The William Williamson family fam-ily and Mrs. Anna Williamson had a Sunday trip to Enterprise, St George and LaVerkln Mr. and Mrs. Ted Barton and their family and Roy McBrlde enjoyed a week end trip to Boulder Boul-der Dam and Las Vegas. They were accompanied by Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Barton of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Tarn Abbott and their family of Murray were here for the week end, arriving In town late Friday. On Saturday a family trip to Lehman Caves in Nevada was in order and for this event the Abbotts were joined by Mrs. Myrtle Ahbott, the Frank Lister and Myron Abbott Ab-bott families. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Lamoreaux and their children traveled to Nevada on Friday to spend the week end- visiting at the Ash Springs home of the Fay Stewart family near Hiko. They returned home on Sunday, bringing news of the arrival of the Stewart's new granddaughter. The baby was bom recently to Mr. and Mrs. Reeves Cook of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Wlllard Lund were down from Springvllle for the week end. Mrs. Iras Jones and sons Tom and Warren enjoyed a fine Easter East-er trip to Glen Canyon with Mrs. I Jones' mother, Mrs. Eva Bell of Panguitch and other relatives, i Mr. and Mrs. Richard McBrlde1 and children also took a trip to Glen Canyon. I Bob and Jim Talbot arrived here from Salt Lake City on Fri-I Fri-I day to spend the holiday week end with their folks the Orson Talbot family. A Saturday picnic took them to Enterprise, Pine Valley and St George. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones and ! their twins, Claude and Claudia, l traveled to Nevada for their holiday holi-day trip. They visited Lehman Caves and then drove on to Ely, Nev., for a visit with the Rodney ;Joi:es family. They returned j home late Sunday and were Surprised. Sur-prised. Mrs. Eva Beard of Milford was In town recently to spend a day visiting with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Stones. Mrs. Viola LeFevre and sons Ray and Lyle of Salt Lake City, were here from Wednesday to Saturday of last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Asa Topham and other family members.- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Robinson and their family have been bug-Ily bug-Ily engaged In moving here from Parowan and are now gettlne en-tabllshed en-tabllshed In the honw recently occupied by th Victor Robinson family. , The Elmo Robinson family and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson were In Cedar City Friday for the birthday celebration for little I Paul Edwards. j Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board man enjoyed having members of Leah Jean's family with tiem for several sev-eral days last week. Present, were Mrs. Robert Brooks and son Jimmy of Las Angeles, Mr. and Luella Hawkins and daughter Mrs. Lorln Robinson and Mrs. I Rosalie, all of Kanarravllle. Thej visitors were here Monday to Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund are proud grandparents of a baby girl, born on Friday at the Iron County Hospital to Victor and Betty Smith of Parowan. The three litle boys are here with Grandma Lund while the moth er Is In the hospital. A number of visitors were ati the Lund home on Sunday to spend some time with them and with Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barton and daughter Phyllis came from Milford. Mr. and Mrs. John Robertson Rob-ertson came from Salt Lake City Ci-ty and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Maxwell Max-well and daughter Patsy and Mr. and Mrs. Murl Gibson and their daughter Kathy came from Cedar Ce-dar City. The Heber Lunds were present from Cedar City, also. Mrs. Bertha Topham recently returned home from a trip to Salt Lake City with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Blood of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson enjoyed a visit from their Brand-son Brand-son Bill Evans and his wife and son last week. Mr. Evans Is on leave from his air force duties In Syracuse, N. Y. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Robinson and their children enjoyed a ST-urday ST-urday outing to I vngultch anO vicinity. They were accompanied by Dorothy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Warren of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson combined business and pleasure for a trip to Kanab on Saturday. They spent some time at the Sand Dunes and had a very I pleasant day. Mrs. Eda Thornton was well enough to leave the hospital on Saturday of last week and is now convalescing at the hom of her sln-In-law and daujMer, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Walker. Another Anoth-er daughter, Mr. Kllla Lamor-, eaux, has returned to her home In Provo after being In Cedar i City for several days assisting with caring for the ailing lady. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Thornton were here from Salt Lake City last week to see Mrs. Thornton also. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stones, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport and Mr. I and Mrs. David Dalton and their families enjoyed a Saturday trip to St George and vicinity. ; The Parowan Stake Presidency members were in Paragonah on Sunday to attend Ward Confer-encse Confer-encse meetings and were speakers speak-ers In the various meetings. The four children of Mr. and Mrs. Humbert Rosenberg of Cedar Ce-dar City were In Paragonah for three days last week visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenport while their parents were on a vacation trip to Lake Mead. Doris Rosenberg had the misfortune to fall at school cutting a gash in her head which required several stitches to close. Mrs Gliys Edwards enjoyed a recent trip to Cedar City where she spent several days vlsltlnjr with her brother-in-law and sister sis-ter Mr nn- Mr rii''e D' Mrs. Clair Lamoreaux has spent a great deal of time In Cedar City the past week in order to be with her mother, Mrs. Perry, who has had a major operation, the ailing woman Is progressing very well. Miss Helen Stones and her first and second grade students enjoyed en-joyed a trip to Lund and Milford on Thursday of last week. The youngsters were taken to Cedar City by a group of mothers and from there they took the bus to 1 Lund. There they all boarded the train for the trip to Milford. After a tour of the station they were brought home by another group of mothers who drove to Milford to meet them. The stu-! stu-! dent teacher who Is training In the class here accompanied them. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Clair D. Robinson of Parowan spent several days here last week end visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Revere Re-vere Robinson. The parents were on a trip to Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Wlllard Dalton were down from Salt Lake City last week end because of the death of Wlllard's sister, Capt Ruth Dalton. |
