Show Cedar Miss Chosen By Faculty As Miss CSU of 1960 20E LEONE PALMER J A . Cedar City sophomore was named by the College of South-em South-em Utah faculty as Miss CSU of 1960 this week. Zoe Leone Palmer, Pal-mer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Palmer, was chosen for the honor. Dean of students Richard Gillies Gil-lies announced the selection of Miss Palmer or. t'le basis of the coed contributing the most to the college with leadership, scholarship, scholar-ship, talent and personality. The new Miss CSU is majoring major-ing in medical technology. She is a member of the Thl Alpha Beta sorority and is president of the Associated Women Students Stu-dents at CSU. She plans to continue con-tinue her education at University of Utah following graduation from CSU. Miss Palmer was a graduate of Cedar City High where she was "Girl of the Year," editor of the school newspaper, vice president presi-dent of the Pep Club and secretory secre-tory to the Girls' Organization. |
