Show Dover Rolls High Game for Week Bill Dover took high honors for all leagues in the Individual game department In competition at the Cedar Bowling Lanes last week, with a 245. Top series of the week, however, was rolled by Max Torres who turned In a 582. In team honors the benefication benefica-tion team of the Columbia league rolled a high game of 876 and Seven-Up Bottling won high series honors with a 2551. Close behind In the high series ser-ies department, with Torres on top, were Ralph Webb with a 565, Dan Lindsay and Bill Dover with 555; Kent Dover with 553, and Bill Leigh with 551. Tops on a league basis were the following. Monday night's Rainbow league has the Odd Balls on top. This team during the week bowl-ed bowl-ed the high team game and series ser-ies with 832 and 2395, respective ly. High individual series for the league was Bill Dover with 555, followed by Bill Leigh with 551, and Gordon Twltchell with 541. High game was by Dover, 245, followed by a 215 by Charles Brazier. Tuesday's Low Four league has Elks No. 2 on top. They also had the high games and series for the week with 806 and 221. Kent Hoyt had the high Individual series, a 513, with Ken Gower next at 495 followed by Jolley at 492. Bunny Fullmer had the high series of 529 followed closely by Wendell Bunnell with 527 and Dan Heap and Lloyd Munford each with 511. Clark Mathews posted the high game of 205 followed by Fullmers 204 and Ken Espllne with a 202. Twltchell Upholstery Is leading the Southern Association league but Arctic Circle had the big game last week of 854. and Thompson Office the high series ser-ies at 2439. Wildcats, who play Friday evenings, eve-nings, have Seven Up on top and this team posted the high series of the week In all leagues with a 2551. Their team high game was 872. Clare Randall of this team had the high game of the evening, a 195, and also wound up on top In the high series with a 558. He was followed closely by Kent Dover with a 553 ser-rles. |
