Show lames C. Parry Dies After Long Illness Jams Corlett Tarry, 79, lifelong life-long resident of Cedar City, died Wednesday, April 13, of causes incident to age following a long Illness. Funeral services were conducted in the First-Fifth Ward chapel Saturday afternoon, and burial was In the Cedar City cemetery. Vr. Parry was born In Cedar City on May 12, 1880, a son of Edward and Margaret Corlett Parry, and spent his life here. On - Nov. 9, 1904, he married Caroline Caro-line Aithur in the St George LD S Temple. As active community and LDS church worker all his life, Mr. Parry had served In many capacities. capa-cities. He was county assessor and manager of the Iron County Hospital for a number of years. He filled a mission for the LDS church In the Southern States, was superintendent of the Sunday Sun-day School, and member of the High Priest Quorum Presidency in Parowan Stake. He is survived by his widow, Cedar City; four sons and five daughters, Ed'.vard A. Parry, C: J. Parry, Chester Parry and Wood-, row Parry, Cedar City; Mrs. Spencer Spen-cer (Mildred) Dean, Provo; Mrs. George Blaine (Lillian) Dobson, Farmington; Mrs Jean Walden, Redwood City, Calif.; Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence (Evelyn) Jones, Clearfie!d. and Mrs. John (Betty) McKnight, Cedar City. He is also survived by one sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Roy (Winnie) Uric, Cedar Ce-dar City, 41 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The services were conducted by H. Neil Peterson, bishop's counselor, with tne following program pro-gram presented: Invocation by Arnold G.
