Show April 23 Selected As Little League Team Tryout Date Cedar City National Little League will begin tryouts Saturday, Satur-day, April 23, It was announced this week by Ray Duerksen, president pres-ident National League represents all boys nine through 12 years of age whose birthday falls on the first to the 15th of the month, Inclusive of any month. Schedule for the tryouts Is ts follows: Boys nine years of age should report at 8 a. m.; 10 year olds will tryout at 9 a. m.; 11 year olds at 10 a. m. and 12 year olds at 11 a. m. . , , , Following the Saturday tryouts try-outs other nights'durlng the following fol-lowing week have -been tentatively tentativ-ely set as follows: Monday, Api'i 25, 9 year olds; Wednesday, April 27, 11 year olds and Thursday, April 28, 12 year olds. These tryouts will be after school during the week. On the succeeding two Saturdays, Sat-urdays, April 30 and May 7 the same schedule as for April 23 will be followed, Duerksen stated. stat-ed. . , sponsors of the four teams wim will participate In the National ! Teams will play on a five day a week schedule Monday Mon-day through Friday, Inclusive, during the regular season, the president said. At the organizational meeting held Wednesday evening two new directors were named. They are Chester Cripps and Fenton Chrlstensen. They were named to fill vacancies that existed on the board.
