Show CSU Vocational Day Award Winners Named ! Nearly 180 exhibits of craft-manshlp craft-manshlp and woodworking skills earned praises of Judges at the annual Vocational Day program at College of Southern Utah. Prof. Eugene Hardy indicated that high schools as far distant as Fredonla, Arizona, and South Emery High were on hand with some outstanding displays of work during the past school year. Winners In the woodwork con. tests were: 1 Merlin Cluff, Fredonla, Fre-donla, first! Lane Brooksby, Fredonla, Fre-donla, second; Gordon Peterson, South Emery, third. Welding honors went to: Leon Matheson, Cedar, second; Richard Littlefield, Beaver, second; Wayne Grim-shaw, Grim-shaw, Cedar, third, and Stan Ker-nlc, Ker-nlc, South Emery, honorable mention. Thirty four projects completed by students were Judged to be "first rate" and the coveted cer tificate was presented to each of the following: South Emery High, Paul Peacock, Kent Scobel, Don Conover, Richard Tuttle, Paul Davis, Eugene Williams, Kirk Scobel, Phillip Leslie, Steven Snow, Stanley Kenick and Richard Rich-ard Hansen. Top honors also went to the following Cedar High exhibitors: Wayne Grimshaw, (2) Ricky Lawrence, Max Gardner, Don Seegmlller,' (2) Larry Anderson, Bruce Slack, Gerald Perkins, Roy Turnbough and Roger Halter-man.
