The .seventh grade has decided to issue its own newspaper. It will be edited under the direction direc-tion of Mr. Olds. The following staff members were chosen: Editors, Edi-tors, Susan Ashcroft and Jean, Arthur; reporters, Phyllis Crab-tree, Crab-tree, Gary LeBaron, Jo Ann Duncan, Dun-can, Bud Wasden, Verlene Terry and Joe Heywood. We think this newspaper will benefit the sev- enth grade immensely and we look forward to the first issue. We had a very good week in sports. The first week in February Feb-ruary the girls volleyball tournament tourna-ment was held. Finalists included includ-ed the teams of Margo Bird. La ay Tong. Linda Smith and Doro-thella Doro-thella Condie. The first two teams were finalists in the 9th grade and the last two teams were finalists in the 8th grade. The 9th grade game was very exciting all the way, although Margo's team always led and won the championship. Both teams played well. The Sth grade game was a real thriller. Dorothella's team led throughout the game until near the end. Suddenly Linda's team grabbed the ball and won by one point. What a game!
