Show j j rur r rn " Cedar City High School Publishes Attendance Restrictions for Students at Class B Tourney Rules regarding students attending at-tending the State Class B bas-' he t ball tournament have been met up by the Cedar City High School, according to Pratt M.j Bethers, principal. The school1 sits that all students attending the tournament comply withj the rules. The tournament will begin on Wednesday, Mar. 5, at 11 a. m. In the Brtgham Young University fieldhou.se at Provo. School will rot be dismissed Wednesday as classes will be held during the entire -day. Thursday and Fri-; day. uwever, Is spring vacation for Irtfrt-County schools and no nchool will be held on those days. So tha.t students may have transportation the school boarl has granted permission for use ef twai school buses. Round trip Will be, $2.50 per student. Any member of the student body is eligible to sign for bus transportation.. transpor-tation.. Already 80 people, which Is capacity for the two buses, have signed for the trip. However, How-ever, if, other students are interested,' in-terested,' hcy may still sign and In case of withdrawals, those having signed will be giv n a chance In order of their signatures. signa-tures. Chapcrones of parents and teachers will accompany each bus. Students going on buses will stay at three motels in Springville. The Cedar City High School j does not approve of unchaper- oned students attending the tournament. Students not going with parents, or on the buses,1 are requested to get a form et the school's office and fill it out stating where they will stay and their means of transportation. The form Is to be signed by a parent of each student. The school will not assume responsibility for accidents or doctor bills incurred in case of Illness while students are at-1 at-1 tending the tournament. The Cedar City High School has been allotted 30 season tickets tick-ets at $11.00 each. Anyone wishing wish-ing to obtain a season ticket should contact Mr. Bothers at the high school by Monday, Mar. 3. |
