Show LETTERS TO THE EDITOR v. AS I SEE IT Well, Truman lambasts Ike; Ike rips into Bulganln; England wants a no war pact with Russia, and I am sure that all of the foreign countries want foreign aid. Now Ike slashes Truman. I You know, they really sound likej big men slashing and ripping i each other. Ike still wants more money j too, It seems, to go overseas for( military bases. Ike and Dulles can sure twist things around In order to get Congress to keep spending out tax money and sending it out of our country. What cost Freedom (if we have any)? Ike should be getting good on his put. put. And he is not using a rubber ball all the time. He uses a rubber stamp quite a lot. As I see it, now the pressure seems to be on Benson to resign. re-sign. They fear that he will hurt the Republican party (if there is one). It seems now that since he hasn't done anything for the farmers, he has attacked the women on their spending too much on beauty aids. I believe that if Benson hadn't made so many speeches and required that; they he published he would have saved some $13,000 but he could give aid to the beauty program. If Ike and the whole political party would stop lambasting and criticizing each other; stop, sending billions of our tax mon- j ey overseas, and start spending j it here In America we wouldn't, have any depression and no fear. P. S: Our livestock association, i bad a nice meeting and the ban- quet was good, but I didn't, know you could cut roast lamb so thin. j The past exalted rulers of the Elks Lodt.-e had P.E.R. party and' it was a bang up social event. I If our Congressmen could get to-1 gethcr like wa did we would, have a better country. Clarence Lamoreaux.
