Show News In Brief Mrs. Mary Stubbs. and Mrs.' Itha Mortensen, stake board members, were in Paragonan to attend Relief Society meeting onj Tuesday. Lo-in Jones of Enoch, a re-; cently returned missionary, was the speaker in Sacrament meeting meet-ing on Sunday. Watson Adams of the stake presidency visited in Paragona on Sunday to attend all church meetings. On Wednesday evening of last week the M I A play "Eternally Peggy," was presented in the school auditorium. The cast of teen-agers Included Laura Lamoreaux, Lam-oreaux, Helen Jean Dalton. Sherry Sher-ry Dawn Evans. Shirlene Talbot, Patsy Topham, Kenneth Topham, Heber Lund and Duane Lamor-j eaux. Mrs. Alice Jones directed the production which was great-; ly enjoved by all present. The MIA Ladies play, "Sister, Susie Swings It." was presented In Parowan on Monday evening. The Junior M-Men game ill Parowan on Thursday evening I between Paragonan and the Third Ward ended in a decisive' victory for our local boys. The score was 31 to 6 and Kenny, Topham was high scorer with nine points. The Paragonah Gold and Green Ball was held Tuesday evening with a floor show and refreshments adding Interest to the dancing. Mayor and Mrs. James Stones welcomed an eight pound boy to their family on Sunday. Two sisters and a brother bro-ther are home with grandmother Sarah Stones. Maternal grandparents grand-parents Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Kip reside In Los Angels and a great grandmother Mrs. Bessie Evans lives in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Thornton were down from Salt Lake City for the week end to visit with Gerry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton. |
