Show I Men Receive Calls From Selective Service The Iron County Selective Service Ser-vice Board has received a call for three men to r'eport for Induction In-duction and pre-induction physical phy-sical examinations on March 1L Mrs. Margaret Carpenter, clerk, reports. Carl Kirtley, former Cedar resident, res-ident, now living in Wyoming, and Gary Carl Rummler, former-ly former-ly of Parowan and now making his home In Salt Lake City, will report for Induction. The three men ordered to re-pcic re-pcic for physical examinations include two returned missionaries, mission-aries, James Edward Parry and Allan Wilford Leigh, and Rd-ney Rd-ney S. Prisbrey, all of Cedar City. The clerk again calls attention to the fact that registrants have the responsibility of keeping the board informed as to their current cur-rent status, whether or not they are married, whether they have children, what they are doing i and where they are living. Fathers will be deferred, as will men engaged in strategic jobs. However, if the board is not informed, and in writing, about these matters no deferment defer-ment can be allowed. Also if men fail to keep the board informed in-formed on any change of address, ad-dress, the registrant may be declared de-clared delinquent and ordered to report Immediately for induction regardless of his status. The board urges every registrant regis-trant to notify the clerk of any change in address, or change In status, such as getting married, becoming a father, and change in employment It is important to the regisrant |
