Show I Building Committee Outlines 4th Activities PARAGONAH rians are under un-der way for a gala Fourth of July celebration in Paragonah. The Ward Building Committee has been given the responsibility responsibili-ty of arranging the day's events and they report that many interesting in-teresting things are being planned. plan-ned. A daybreak cannon salute will begin the day's activities. At 10 o'clock in the ward chapel a patriotic pa-triotic meeting will be held. Mr. and Mrs E. M. Edwards and William Wil-liam T. Davenport are in charge of this event. Miss Patsy Topham will be featured as "Miss Utah," Miss Sherry Dawn Evans will represent the "Goddess of Liberty," Liber-ty," and Duane Lamoreaux will be "Uncle Sam." J. Leonard Topham will act as chaplain and D. Amasa Stones and Melva Barton will conduct the community singing. A fine program is promised and everyone every-one is urged to attend. Bishop Victor Robinson and Clair Lamoreaux head the committee com-mittee in charge of the children's races and sports activities which are scheduled to follow immediately immedi-ately after the meeting. During the noon hour the committee com-mittee in charge of the day's affair af-fair will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs and each of the auxiliary organizations will be operating a concession of some sort. There will be pie, cake, root beer, etc. for sale and the Primary will sponsor a fish pond. AH proceeds from the activities will go to the .building fund so the cooperation of the townspeople townspeo-ple will be appreciated. |
