Show KANARRAV1LLE NEWS By Hannah DotU i The long spell of hot, dry and i windy weather continues here with no sign of rain. The men i folks are very busy harvesting their alfalfa crop which is unus- ually heavy this year. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Williams are visiting in California for a while with hi son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams. Mr. and Mrs. John LIttlefield of Provo visited Monday with Hannah A. Davis. They were en-route en-route to California to visit one of his daughters. Dell' Stout of Cedar City attended at-tended Priesthood meeting here Sunday morning. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were Gerald Prince of New Harmony and Raona Ence. Meretta and Colleen Chrlstensen played a number on their accordions. accor-dions. Mable Williams spent a week in Las Vegas with her son-in-j law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bryan. I Blaine Pollock spent the week end here from Tooele. He was accompanied back by his family who had visited here and in Cedar Ce-dar City for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Mlgnon Malm and children chil-dren of Salt Lake City have been here visiting with her father, Earl Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Ford were visitors at Grand Canyon last week end. Opal Williams and daughter Cheryl spent a few days in Las Vegas with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Don Robinson were Saturday visitors in Paragonah Para-gonah with Mr. and Mrs. Homer Boardman. Larry Reeves was home over the week end with his parents from his Marine base at Twenty-Nine Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif. Word was received here of the death of Johnny Stout, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stout of Las Vegas, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Stout were former residents here. Those attending the funeral at Las Vegas Monday Mon-day were Mr. and Mrs. Rowen Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Garth Pollock, Ethna Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Gubler, Venona Esp-lin, Esp-lin, Irene Davis and Alva Bat-ty. |
