Show Final Tribute Paid Elizabeth Craw Barton on Wednesday Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed In the Cedar First Ward chapel cha-pel Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Elizabeth Craw Barton, 36, wife of Lyle Barton, and daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Penn Barton of Cedar City. Mrs. Barton died Friday In a Kansas City, Mo., hospital following fol-lowing a heart operation. Mrs. Barton was born In Mirr-ersville, Mirr-ersville, on No. 25, 1921, a daughter daugh-ter of Charles and Fern Talbot Craw. On June 14, 1912, she married mar-ried Lyle Barton In Pioche, Nevada. Ne-vada. The marriage was later solemnized In the St. George LDS temple. The deceased Is survived by her husband, a daughter. Sherry, her parents, six brothers, Nep, Jack, Jimmy W., Minersville; Wayne, Louis E., Logan; Charles L., Hurricane, and a sister, Mrs. A. K. Martin, Sparks, Nev. The services were rnndurtprt hv Bishop Clemont Adams. Speakers were Charles Jamison of Minersville, and Charles R. Hunter, with a tribute by Ver-gene Ver-gene Jamison and remarks by Bishop Giles Bolander. Invocation Invoca-tion was by II. P. Dotson, benediction bene-diction by Verdell Knight, and the dedicatory prayer was by S. F. Leigh. Prayer at the mortuary was by Wayne Craw, brother of the deceased. The musical program included a vocal solo, "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked," by Ruth Corry, accompanied by Belle Jones; violin solo by Roy L. Hal-vesen, Hal-vesen, accompanied by Beth Leigh, and a vocal solo, "Face to Face," by Clive Hartman, accom-pained accom-pained by Mrs. Leigh. Prelude and postlude music was by Belle Jones. |
