Show Power Company Completes Merger Dealings The recently approved merger of Southern Utah Power Company Com-pany into California-Pacific Utilities Utili-ties Company became effective June 19, 193S. Warren H. Bulloch, formerly, i president of Southern Utah I Power, was elected to the board' of directors of C'aliforniaTacilici Utilities on June 20. Ralph R. Thomas, formerly vice president and general manager man-ager of Southern Utah Power Company i. continuing as vice president and division manager! of California-Pacific Utilities Co.,1 in charge of that company's Southern Utah Divishm. In Cedar City directing the1 change over is D. Morris Pritch-ett, Pritch-ett, personel and safety manager, manag-er, and Jack B. Jones, auditor and assistant treasurer, from the company's general offices in San Francisco, Calif. Books of the Southern Utah Power Company will be closed at the end of business on Monday, Mon-day, June 30, and the conversion and dissolving of Southern Utah Power will be affected on that date. All operating personnel of the southern Utah company are continuing con-tinuing in the newly created division di-vision of California-Pacific Utilities. Utili-ties. The southern Utah company provides electric power and light in Cedar City, Kanab, Hurricane, Enterprise, and a number of other oth-er nearby communities including California-Pacific Utilities Com-pary Com-pary serves 82 communities in seven Western States. In various vari-ous of these communities, the company provides the gas, telephone tele-phone and water services, as well as electric power and light. |
