Author of the play, Mr. Grant Redford, Seattle, Washington and former member of the CSU faculty, is expected to be in atte-.iance at the oresen-tatlon. oresen-tatlon. Mr.;. Ianthus Wright will do the reading. Mr. Redford teaches Creative Writing In the English depart ment at the University of Washington. Wash-ington. The author was the head of the English department at the College of Southern Utah from 1936 to 1913. The 3-act play which was published pub-lished in March, 1958 concerns backviews in the life of Kath-erine Kath-erine Matheson from the Atomic Age into the early days of pioneering pio-neering in the Cedar City area. Actual locale of the play Is Cedar Ce-dar City and prominent pioneer names are much in evidence through the play. Mr. Redford married the former form-er lone Higbee of Cedar City. |
