Show Former Cedar Resident Is Buried at Clearfield Funeral services wen! held in Clearfield Monday for Mm. Emma Em-ma Stringham Anderson, 75, former for-mer Cedar City resident and mother mo-ther of Roland and Haken Anderson An-derson of Cedar City. Mrs. Anderson, An-derson, active church worker, died Saturday following a lingering lin-gering illness. Burial was In Meadow, Utah. Always active In the L. D. S. Church, Mrs. Anderson had served ser-ved as president of the Relief Societies, and In many other capacities. ca-pacities. She moved to Clearfield from Cedar City in 1913. She was born Feb. 13. 1883, In Holden, a daughter of Benjamin Joseph and Olive Ann Johnson Stringham. She was married to John Edward Anderson, April 5, 1906, In the Salt Lake Temple. He died In 1939. Survivors include five sons and two daughters, Roland J. Anderson and Haken E. Anderson, Ander-son, Cedar City; Niel S. Anderson, Chula Vista, Calif.; J. Bryant Anderson, An-derson, Bountiful; B. J. Anderson, Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Carr, Clearfield, Clear-field, and Mrs. Elmer (Lona) Loose, Renton, Wash. Also surviving are 31 grandchildren, grand-children, 19 great-grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters. |
