Show HEWS NOTES OF SUMMIT ACTIVITIES By Hulda Peterson i Mr. and Mrs. Karl Condie of St George and a sister of Mrs. Hulda Peterson, Mrs. Bertha Graff of Santa Clara, visited here briefly one day this week en-route en-route to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Mitchell of Ogden visited with Mrs. Mitchell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Dalley and picked up their three sons, Rex, Larry and Steven, who had been visiting with their grandparents for the past two weeks. They went on to California to visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Alaa Lowe of St. Louis, Mo., are here with Mr. Lowe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jones. Mr3. Lowe and two sons will remain for the summer sum-mer months, while Mr. Lowe is traveling in connection with his business. The Primary organization presented pre-sented the program In Sacrament meeting. The program included a piano solo by Jenny White, scriptural readings by Maxine Dalley, Myra Richards, Carlo Dalley Dal-ley and Kristlne Mlckelson, and poems by Colleen Fife, Shirley Farrow tnd iJolane Walker. Stanford Stan-ford Dalley of Cedar City, recently recent-ly returned missionary from Germany, Ger-many, sang two solos, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Sandra Emmett, and reported his experiences In the mission field. Mr. and Mrs. John Wittwer of Las Vegas spent part of Tuesday Tues-day at the home of Mrs. Hulda Peterson and Georgia Matheson. William R. Palmer of Cedar City gave most Interesting historic his-toric stories at MIA meeting in Summit Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Pullman and children of Salt Lake -City, friends of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Pulley, were here Sunday with the Dalleys. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dalley are the proud grandparents of another baby girl, born to their son-in-law and daughter In Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fife visited at the homes of their sons Rud-gar Rud-gar and Ted Fife last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pace of Enoch visited with the Rudger Fifes Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Turner visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bart Stapley last week. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Bonner and daughter, Hazel Ann, and son Chuck, off Palmdale, Calif, spent several days last week visiting with the Hy Humpherys family. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wood and children. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Kimball, Kim-ball, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Muir, L. Ray O'Neal, of Cedar City, and Ray Curbon of Zion Park enjoyed a barbecue dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hy Humpherys Sunday. |
