Show Former Kanarra Youth Succumbs; Services Held Monday Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon In Las Vegas, Nev. for John Marlon Stout, 1G, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stout, formerly of Kanarraville. Stout died Friday at the family home in Las Vegas as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was afflicted af-flicted with cerebral palsy since birth. Prayer at the mortuary prior to the services was by George Wood, and Bishop Charles Brausford of the Las Vegas Fourth Ward officiated. of-ficiated. Invocation at the services was by Elmer Bingham. Speakers included in-cluded Gordon Wood, DeWayne Brown, Bishop Harris Gubler of Kanarra, and Loren Bunker. Musical numbers Included a vocal solo by Audrey Tobler, "Oh, My Father," accompanied by Au-dree Au-dree Slack; "Going Home," a vocal vo-cal solo by Walter Fullerton, also al-so accompanied by Miss Tobler. Benediction was by Paul Seeg-mlller Seeg-mlller and the dedication of the grave at the Woodlawn cemetery ceme-tery was given by Boyd Stout. Survivors Include his parents, Elton and Verlin Wood Stout; three brothers. Reynold, Terry and Orville; three sisters, Ran-dee Ran-dee Lynn, Martha Sue and Mary Lou, all of North Las Vegas; paternal grandmother, Mrs, Mary C. Stout of Hurricane and maternal mater-nal grandmother, Martha W. Holt of St. George. He was born In Hurricane on June 13, 1912. |
