Show I " .. ;.m. 'D W MR. AND MRS. HOMER ANTHONY hi Cedar City Social Swing Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Snow and son Richard of Huntington, Utah, were visiting in Cedar City this past week end. They plan to return re-turn following Christmas to spend a portion of the holidays with Mrs. Snow's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Palmer. Celebrating Christmas in Utah are Mr. and Mrs. Barry Line of South Pasedena, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Line are guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Jones in Cedar City. While in the state, they will visit vi-sit other members "f the Jones family in Salt Lake City. A family tradition for the Wesley Wes-ley Bauers has been to gather Dceombcr 20th for a pre-Chrlst-mas social and a birthday party for. Mr. Bauer. This year Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Batt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Singleton and family and Mrs. Terry De-Mille De-Mille and family were on hand for the celebration. In keeping with their tradition, each guest was allowed to open one Christmas Christ-mas gift. SOUTHERN STAR MA3THERS Friday. Dec. 11th. the Southern Star Mariners met for their monthly mon-thly get together. Decorations at the Presbyterian church gave a Yuletide affect as the group enjoyed a buffet supper prepared by host and hostess Tom and Elaine Murray. During the holiday holi-day social Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kempner were presented with a going away gift. The Kempners will be moving to Idaho Falls early in January. Mrs. Nellson gave the devotion narration. Mr. and Mrs. Adam Seogmiller left Wednesday for Salt Lake City where they will enjoy the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ro-bert Seogmiller, Mr. and Mrs. Gam Scegmillcr and Mr. Alan Seegmlller. Hey Cedars Square Dance Club A happy Christmas surprise was in store for members of the beginuing square dance club on Thursday evening when they were invi'ed by Hey Cedars Square Dance Club members to ; Join in the fun of a holidny dance party. The beginning club members mem-bers arrived for their usual lesson les-son on Thursday night to find party preparations already under way. Eleven squares in all attended at-tended the event including guests from tri-state communities. Dinner Din-ner was served smorgasbord style i and the group was pleased with , a visit from Santa who passed out gifts to everyone. Committee for the Christmas surprise party was led by Lee and JoAnn Nugent. In Cedar City this past week end especially for the wedding festivities of Sandra Knight and Homer Pittard were Mrs. Hilda Thompson and Mr. and Mix. Be-van Be-van Thompson of Delta alone with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kol-man, Kol-man, Southernland, Utali, and Mrs. Barbara Thompson and daughter Janet of Milfoixl |
