Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Decorations expressing a seasonal sea-sonal atmosphere were appropriately appropri-ately placed around the home of Mrs. A. W. Stephenson as she greeted guests last Wednesday 'evening to the annual Chere Amies Club Party. Christmas I place cards were on the table for 18 of the club ladies on hand i for the occasion. Dinner was i served, gifts exchanged and I Christmas thoughts expressed among the group. Assisting Mrs. I Stephenson were Marian Hahne and Elva Hatch. The 11th Ward MIA held their traditional Christmas party last week in the Ward Relief Society Room. Ham dinner was served and guests enjoyed a short program pro-gram by Penny and Kevin Aver-ett Aver-ett and Elma Lynn Sandberg. Stevens company will be holding hold-ing its usual Christmas Eve social so-cial following store hours tonight. Gifts will be exchanged and employees will enjoy a smorgasbord smorgas-bord dinner. Alan Leigh and his wife are currently visiting here from Tucson, Tuc-son, Ariz. They plan to spend the holiday with Alan's motho:, Mrs. Mae Leigh. Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Robinson entertained some guests at their home. Ham dinner din-ner was served and parlor games enjoyed. The guest list included Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Averett, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bess, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Urie, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Kline Irons, Mr. and Mrs. James Sandberg and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Fenton held an Open House Sunday to begin their Yuletide season. Fifty persons per-sons attended between the hours of 4:30 to 9:00 p. m. |
