Show Anna R. Williamson Accorded Last Rites j 1 Mrs. Anna R. Williamson, age 78, passed away Thursday In the St. George Hospital of causes incident in-cident to age. She had been in a nursing home there for more than three months. I Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Monday in the Paragonah Ward Chapel by Bp. Boyd Robinson. Robin-son. Mrs. Melva Barton was at the organ for prelude and post-j post-j lude music. The funeral com-, com-, menced with the choir singing "1 know that My Redeemer Lives", under the direction of D. Amasa Stones, accompanied by :Mrs. Barton. K. Doyle Robinson I offered the invocation. A history I of the deceased was given by Mrs. Mary C. Williamson. Speakers Speak-ers were J. Leonard Topham and i Bishop Robinson. Mrs. June Top- ham sang "In the Garden" ac-1 companied at the piano by Mrs. 1 Barton. 1 1 The choir sang "Resting Now from Care and Sorrow" and George A. Topham gave the ben- j ediction. At the cemetery the dedicatory prayer was given by Bishop Robinson. Anna Elizabeth Riding Wll-"amson Wll-"amson was born November 23, ic5 in Panguitch to Alfred Hale and Mary Ellen Hall Riding. She received her schooling in Pan- gultch and at the Beaver Branch of the BYU. She also graduated! from a Relief Society Home Nurs-ing Nurs-ing course in Salt Lake City. She was married to George Al-1 vin Williamson on June 6, 1912 and the marriage was later solemnized sol-emnized in the St. George Tern-1 pie. Mr. Williamson passed away j on February 22, 1933. I Mrs. Williamson was a Relief Society visiting teacher for 42 years, and was active in D. U. P.1 work. She was an expert weaver j and her hand-loomed rugs and carpet were in great demand as long as she was able to operate her loom. She is survived by four children, chil-dren, Mrs. Wilford (Lareta) Abbott, Ab-bott, Provo; Mrs. Kenneth (May) Sant, Salt Lake City; Alfred, Provo Pro-vo and William, Paragonah; 18 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Golden, Richfield, and Mrs. Thirza Johnson, Orem and a brother, Joe Riding, also of Orem. |
