Show Wins Safety Award After Fifteen Years For achievement of 15 years of driving without a recorded accident, acci-dent, during which it Is estimated estimat-ed he has covered 1,000,000 miles of western highway, Greyhound Driver Parker M. Ward of 570 South 640 West, Cedar City, has been named to receive a safety award certificate, uniform insignia in-signia Indicating his years of safe driving, and a ruby ring.? The awards In recognition of his safe driving record come from Stan A. Ossman, director of safety safe-ty for Greyhound's 11-state western west-ern revision. "Ward joins a growing list of Greyhound drives whose years of service have been marked by 'professional' driving performances, perform-ances, courtesy on and off the highway, and the display of a keen sense of public responsibility," responsi-bility," states Osman. "It takes all of these attributes to achieve the remarkable safety record through which Greyhound has won confidence and repeated national na-tional and local safety awards. It also attests to the value of our never-ending program of safety education." The safety award certificate will be presented to Ward at a forthcoming meeting of Greyhound Grey-hound personnel In this area. |
