Show High School Students Perform in Concert With approximately 75'f of the students of the six grades in the Parowan High School participating, participat-ing, the annual Christmas concert con-cert was presented by the music I department of the school on Tuesday evening. I Always ,the highlight , of the local holiday season, the concert presented under the direction of L. N. Asay, music department head, was in every way on a par with past presentations. Taking part were the&l-mem-ber high school band, the 56-volce 56-volce high school girls' chorus and the chorus made up of the seventh and eighth grades, numbering num-bering over 1(K). In addition to the group, numbers from the three groups performed in ensembles en-sembles and groups in both vocal vo-cal and instrumental numbers. Accompanists were Mrs. Mary Lyman at the piano and Mrs. Orna Johnson at the organ. Mrs. Jean Hendrirkson was narrator for a number with the younger group and Robert Wilcock, seminary sem-inary instructor was trumpet so-loist so-loist for the sons; "O Holy "ht" rendered by Mr. Asay, with a girls' group Joining in ine chorus. |
