Show College Forms Third Ward, Officers Named A new LDS ward was created on the campus of College of Southern Utah Sunday evening. Dec. 17 under the direction ct Cedar West Stake President Frank Day. The new unit was CSU Third Ward. Bishopric is composed of P'of. Glen Wahlpaist, Bishop; Wendel Heaton, Kanab, 1st Counselor and j Charles Talmer, Alton, 2nd counselor. coun-selor. Bishop Wahlquist is a staff member of the Division of Biological Science at CSU. He served 3 years as a captain in the European Theater of action, lie completed his B. S. and M. S. at Utah State University. Bishop Bish-op Wahlquist Just returned from a three year teaching assignment in Tehran, Iran at Karadj Agriculture Agri-culture College. He and his wife were active in the Tehran Branch of the Church. His wife is the former Clara Morrill, Tridel, Ut., a".d they are the parents of two daughters, Aimeiie, IS, a Iicsli-man Iicsli-man at CSU and Kaye, 14. Wendel Heaton is a Junior student majoring in the field of recreation. He Just returned from a Southern Far East Mission with headquarters in Hong Kong. Charles Palmer is a graduate of j Dixie College ar J is majoring in agriculture. He is a returned j missionary from the West Central Cen-tral States.
