Show xmn The popular studio greeting card character and it's "offbeat" "off-beat" lettering is moving to new horizons gift wrap and note paper. A studio note assortment from Rust Craft, for example, features familiar first lines illustrated il-lustrated in the studio style. "You're probably wondering why I haven't written lately," says one of the notes. The illustration ill-ustration shows a lady floating float-ing in a ballon. ' Another shows a beatnik looking out of a street sewer opening. The first line of tho note reads: "Just a line to let you know things are about the same here." A gift wrapping from the same publisher pictures a list of items which titillates the recipient of the gift. It lias binoculars "for looking at or for. gift with," a clock "for watching until time to open," and a white elephant "where I got this marvelous gift." |
