Show Rams Unable to Cope With Tall Gunnison Visitors With the Parowan High School basketball team losing their two games in the Iron County basketball tournament last week end, Coach John Wood is getting get-ting his team ready for the final two rounds of Dractice eames I prior to the start of league play early In January. In the Parowan-South Sevier game in the CSU fieldhouse last Friday night, the Rams took an early lead and held it until the last few minutes of play, only to be edged out by a score of 36 to 35 in the final minute. The Parowan team, playing in their own gymnasium on Saturday Satur-day night, almost got run out of their own gym by a bigger and hotter shooting crew from Gunnison. Gun-nison. The following week end, De". 29 and 30, the Rams meet Basic High team from Henderson on Friday and then go to St. George for a game with the Dixie Flyers on Saturday night to wind up the practice season. |
