Show I Cedar City Resident Funeral Services Held Mrs. Arthur R. Fife, 59, for many years a resident of Cedar City, died in Albuquerque, N. M., 1 Monday night from burns suffered suf-fered on Friday, May 8, according accord-ing to word received by relatives here. According to . reports received re-ceived she was severely burned on Friday in a flash fire in her home cause by an explosion of a bottle of cleaning fluid, apparently appar-ently ignited by a hot stove. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted in the Cedar City Third ward chapel by Bishop A. E. Whatcott, and burial will be in the Cedar City cemetery under the direction of the Jensen mortuary. mor-tuary. Mrs. Fife, the former Miss Florence Williams of Kanarra-ville, Kanarra-ville, was born in Kanarraville a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Williams. Following her marriage to Mr. Fife they made their home here while Mr. Fife was a member of the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college faculty. They have resided In Dallas, Texas and Albuquerque, N. M. since leaving Cedar City 20 years ago. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, four sons, Rowland, Glade and Paul Fife, all of Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, and Dr. Ray Fife of Arizona; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Hines of Houston, Texas. Also surviving surviv-ing are three sisters and 10 grandchildren. |
