Show Jaycee-Ettes Support Civic Projects With Contributions The Cedar City Jaycee-Ettes have made a contribution of $250 to help finance two very important import-ant civic improvements, the funds having been raised from-the from-the club's annual projects, including in-cluding the fashion show and quilt sale. The contribution was divided equally between the city and the Iron County hospital, with S125 going to the city for the installation installa-tion of additional swings fr the recreation center at the city park, and $125 donated to the hospital to be applied on the $900 air lock. The Jaycee-Ettes made their first contribution to the hospital on this project in 1950 and the contribution con-tribution is the third made by the group. When the $125 contribution i was presented to the hospital management this week the ladies lad-ies were assured thirt this had (been an unusually worthwhile I project. It was pointed out that the lives of a number of Infants have been saved by this new res-1 pirator type machine. One of the most dramatic of the cases recounted was in a family that had previously lost six new born babies, but the life of the seventh was saved by the use of the machine. All Jaycee-Ette members vote on projects most worthwhile and the selection of projects to be supported is determined in this! manner. |
