Show iHorsley Promoted to Provo Post A. Burt Horsley, principal of the Cedar City high school L D S Seminary for the past six years, and a member of the staff for seven years, announced today a recent promotion to the Provo High school seminary. After the completion of the current cur-rent school year and the conclusion conclu-sion of business affairs, Mr. Horsley will move to Provo where he will first accept a Fellowship to the Brigham Young University until the completion of a new seminary building at the Provo high school. Upon thee ompletion of his fellowship and the new seminary, he will take over as principal of the L D S institution. institu-tion. During the seven years that Mr. Horsley has been at the Cedar Ce-dar City Seminary approximately 2100 students have completed the three year course offered there and received diplomas. Also during dur-ing that time several important improvements and worthwhile projects have been completed. Organization of a student gov ernment, new student activities , and encouragement in high school extra-curricular activities to mention a few, were initiated by Mr. Horsley. Leaving Cedar City and moving mov-ing to Provo will be Mr. Hors-ley's Hors-ley's family, including his wife, Faye, and four children: Dee, Raymon, Christine and Linda. Replacing Mr. Horsley in the principalship of the local institu-1 tion will be Rodney Turney of Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Turned, the for-1 mer Bonnie Dalley, is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Hillman Dalley Dal-ley of Cedar City.
