Show I Series Set During Summer Session An outstanding feature of the Branch Agricultural college Summer Sum-mer School will be the series of programs given this year each Thursday evening at 8. It Is thought that because of the very high Quality and entertainment value of these programs that they should be given at a more convenient time for public attendance. at-tendance. This schedule of programs will be followed generally as outlined out-lined here: On June 4, at 8 p. m. Gaell Lindstrom, engaged to teach art courses in the summer session, will present a program built around the-content of his courses, using necessary illustrations illustra-tions to make an extremely interesting in-teresting evening to all who would like to attend. On June 11, at 8 p. m., a program pro-gram of great interest especially to the Parent's class of the Sunday Sun-day School will be presented by Dr. Daryl Chase in the field of his summer session program which is the Literature and History His-tory of the Old and New Testament. Testa-ment. Dr. Chase, one of the outstanding out-standing authorities in the field of Biblical literature and history will make a great contributinn to the lives of anyone who attends at-tends this fine program. On June 18, a musician of great merit and world-wide acclaim, ac-claim, Irving Wassermann, will c fpntiimrl In nn nvpnincr with the piano masters. Those who heard Mr. Wasserman last year won't want to miss this program. The richness of Mr. Wasserman's knowledge and experience will make for an unforgettable eve. ning. Wm. R. Palmer, our own prominent prom-inent southwest historian, will be featured in a program on June 25. The time of the program will be announced later, since It wil' be built around a field trip to some of southern Utah's outstanding out-standing historical spots. All who know Mr. Palmer will want to participate in this unique exper-ence. exper-ence. To finish out the series of programs pro-grams the music department, in cluding Mr. Wasserman, Loa M. Johnson, and a mixed quartette composed of Luana Kiddle, Claire Esplin, Blaine Johnson and Howard How-ard Wood, will present an evening eve-ning of some of the finest music mu-sic ever presented in Cedar City. The 4-hand arrangement with mixed quartette of Brahm's "Lie-beslieder" "Lie-beslieder" will be presented as well as other musical numbers of paralleling high quality. A feature of the session that will undoubtedly interest many people in art and photography will bo the presence of J. M. Hes-lop, Hes-lop, chief photographer of the Desorot News. Mr. Heslop will display many outstanding examples exam-ples of his work on the B A C campus. This exhibit along with his instruction in photography will undoubtedly be of prime interest in-terest to all hobbyists in this area in this field. All programs will feature special spe-cial music and interesting side events to attract the widest possible pos-sible interest among the fine audiences that our area permanently perman-ently affords. Everyone is cordially cor-dially invited and urged to attend at-tend this series of excellent events. All events will be in the College auditorium at 8 p. m. each Thursday with the exception excep-tion of Mr. Palmer's program, which will have a later announcement. an-nouncement.
