Show Grand Opening Set Sunday, May 24 For Hyland Drive-in Announcement has been made by the Yergensen Brothers of Cedar Ce-dar City of the grand opening of the completely new 300 car Hyland Drive-in theatre, on Sunday, Sun-day, May 24. The newest addition to theatre g"crs of Cedar City as well as southern Utah will carry all the conveniences of the modern outdoor out-door theatre plus tested special equipment, according to the Yergensen Yer-gensen brothers. Included in the 300-car Hyland Hy-land Drive-in will be individual speakers for each car, each with an adjustable volume control. Also a concession stand will be maintained by the theatre for popcorn enthusiasts who can disturb dis-turb no one but themselves. The new theatre will be located lo-cated just off Highway 91 at the north entrance to Cedar City, just east of the Milne Truck Line de-pot. de-pot. Everyone is invited to attend the grand opening on May 24 at which time the winner of the advertising slogan contest will be announced. The winner, plus a partner of his of her choosing, will be the guest of the Flamin-1 go hotel in Las Vegas for three days, with all expenses paid and will make the trip via Western Air Lines as a prize for the top slogan. Several hundred slogans have already been received by the Yergensen Yer-gensen brothers and slogans will be accepted if they are postmarked post-marked prW to midnight, Thursday, Thurs-day, May 21, h was pointed out. |
