Show Gaell Lindstrom Exhibits Paintings at USAC Utah State Agricultural College has on exhibition a collection of, paintings by Gaell Lindstrom, ta-1 lented artist who is chairman of j ! the art department at College of 1 Southern Utah. I Professor II. Reuben Reynolds, chairman of the exhibition com-mittee com-mittee at U S A C, invited the , young C S U artist to submit some of his paintings for possible possi-ble purchase. The committee selected se-lected "Low Tide" to add to the collection, Prof. Reynolds stated, that "Low Tide" exhibits very well the efective and interesting style of Mr. Lindstrom in the water wa-ter color medium. "It is characterized by a quality qual-ity of rich ca'or and fine feeling, with an emphasis on strong shadows and highlights. The work expresses a warm feeling and fluidity of technique," Reynolds Rey-nolds said. Some of Lindstrom's paintings being shown there are "Afternoon Sun," "Railroad Yard," "San Francisco Shadows'," and "Late Afternoon." |
