Show bdonie MgEiting encouraged Uy Jaycees The home lighting contest being be-ing sponsored this year by the Junior Chamber of Commerce was completely organized this week, according to cho-chairmen Robert Faddis and Douglas Lunt. Final organization was the appointment ap-pointment and acceptance of the City Boautification Committee as judge for the contest this sea son. I Preparations have also been; completed to have the addresses of participating home owners published so that residents might easily find and view the lighting light-ing projects throughout the city. Again this week an entrance blank is being published and home owners who plan any type of a lighting project are encouraged encourag-ed to enter, if not for the money at least for the convenience of having the homes listed for viewing by the public. It was pointed out by the co-chairmen co-chairmen again that monetary prizes wiU be awarded, including a $25 first prize, $15 second prize, and a $7.50 third prize. In addition addi-tion funds for 10 $2.50 prizes have been donated by the Southern South-ern Utah Tower Company. Deadline for entering the contest con-test is Monday, Dec. 19. |
