Show Cedar City Cub Scouts Hold Special Ceremonial Americana Program Cub Pack 3316 presented "America the Beautiful" it its pack meeting Saturday, Dec. 3. The program was opened with an impressive ceremony portraying portray-ing the history and development of the fjag of the United States. A reading and demonstration, using minature flags, was given by Cub Scouts Gary LeBaron and Leslie Roberts of Den 6. Other events taken from the pages of Americana were a puppet show of events in the lives of a Tilgrim family and the Indians, given by Den G, under the direction of Den Mothers Dorothy Stuckl and Blanche LeBaron, Den 8, directed by Den Mother Elaine Jones, presented pre-sented a minstrel scene, singing and acting "Brother Noah's Ark". A between skit interlude fea tured a poem "Mr. Snipkln and Mr. Wabblechin", given with appropriate ap-propriate gestures by Den 9, with Den Mothers Barbara Paulson (and Bessie Dover in charge. A film on the Grand Canyon, loaned loan-ed through courtesy of the Utah Parks Company, was enjoyed by the large group of Cub Scouts and parents present. Honored guests present were Dr. Rymal Williams and Frank Mu'ne, outgoing and newly elected elect-ed presidents of the Cedar City Kiwanls Club, sponsors of the Cub Pack. Dr. Williams presented the pack charter to Cubmaster Boyd Paulson, and remarked on the pleasures that the Kiwanians feel in their sponsorship and the success of the program as shown ' by the enthusiasm of those present. pre-sent. Cubmaster Paulson made the following awards: Service stars to Leslie Jones, Lee Stucki, Le-Roy Le-Roy Miller and Teddy Munford. Bobcat pins were awarded to Thomas H. Clark, Kent L.
