Show Service Schools Opened to National Guard A broad field of educational opportunities now is open to young men in the Utah National Guard. In addition to training available avail-able to Guardsmen at their armories ar-mories and through home study courses, short-tour active duty schools may be attended at full pay. " These Army and Air Force schools offer 450 varied courses, many of which are valuable to a guardsman in his fujl-time ci- vilian rwvnn.itinn Skills in nrh fields as electronics, automotive mechanics, radar, food management, manage-ment, radio and administration may be acquired through school attendance. Completion of the school courses can mean advancement both in civilian and military assignments, as-signments, promotion or commission com-mission and extra pay.
