Show CLUB AND PARTY MUTES Mrs. Tberol McArthnr Mrs. Arthur Higbee entertained entertain-ed at a birthday party for her son Terry who celebrated his sixth birthday on Saturday. His friends gathered early in the afternoon af-ternoon to have refreshments with Terry, then Mrs. Higbee took them to the show. Mrs. Aleene Osborne was hostess host-ess to the members of her club at her home on Friday evening. Bridge was played with high scores going to Shirley Woodard and Kathryn Wood. Sped a.' guests wore Molva Rovvbcrry and Marlyn Hadley, Members present were Margaret Gillies, Marcelone Mathews, Pat Sorens'on, Irene Goodwin, Reva Orton, Shirley1 Batty, Yvonne MacDonald, and1 Kathleen Mitchell. To celebrate his sixth birthday Kerry Carpenter Invited many of his little friends and neighbors to share his birthday cake with him, then took them to the matinee mat-inee on Saturday. Kerry is the son and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Carpenter. Car-penter. The Lohoaobey Club was entertained enter-tained on Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Rayola Leigh. Following Fol-lowing dessert, pinochle was played by the following special guests: Elsie Seegmiller, Elva Benson, LaRue Wood, and members' mem-bers' Reta Anderson, Hazel Pollock, Pol-lock, Emma Hair, Grace Heap, Pauline Cox, Florence Crabtree, Virginia Randall, and Dorothy Ulver. |
