Show Blood Donor Quota In Sight Says Red Cross Official The Bloodmobile which is sent out through the cities and towns of the state at regular intervals will make its first stop in Taro-wan Taro-wan this trip it is announced by A. C. Hatch, Parowan representative represen-tative on the board of diroctots of the Iron County Red Cross chapter. Mr. Hatch states that the I bloodmobile will be here from 2 i to 7 p. m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15. and will be located in the Industrial Indus-trial arts department of the hih school building, lie states that the quota set for the stop here is 100 pints of blood and a canvass is being made of the towns in tl.iy end of the county to obtain ob-tain the required number of donors, don-ors, It is reported that almost 85 people had indicated they would donate blood at this time, but Mr. Hatch was desirous that at least 125 donors should be obtained ob-tained because of the fact that tnere are always some who report re-port who are rejected for one reason or another, and this num-bei num-bei is necessary in order to get the desired quota of 100 pints. Reports from several districts had not been turned in by the canvassers on Monday of this week and Mr. Hatch was certain that the required number would ( be signed up. Local clubs are being enlisted I to help with the program here land members of these dubs will be on hand to serve refreshment to the donors throughout the af-1 ternoon and evening. I ! |
