Show Cedar City Wildlife Federation Nominates Officers Dell Carpenter and Grant Seeg-miller Seeg-miller have been nominated for the position of president of the Cedar City Wildlife Federation for 1954, according to Lawrence Misel, current president, whose term will expire Dec. 31. Other men nominated for office of-fice include Glen Jackson and Lynn Green for vice president; Ralph Hanzon and Erwin Walker Walk-er for two-year term board members; mem-bers; Nolan Stokes, Clarence Miller, Mil-ler, Earl Merryweather, Lloyd Crawford, Richard Stucki and Ray Lindquist, for one-year term board members, with three to be elected. Nominations were announced at the membership meeting of the federation held at El Escal-ante Escal-ante Hotel Wednesday evening. Ballots will be mailed soon to all members with the new officers offi-cers to be installed on Jan. 1. Retiring officers besides Mr. Misel, will be Kay Cutler, vice president; Lyman Sevy, Grant Seegmiller and Morgan Slack, I board members. Ted Cox is the : holdover member of the board. Arnold Anderson is serving as ! secretary this year, appointed to i that position by Mr. Misel. The new secretary will be appointed by the president elected for the coming year. Season prizes in the Federation's Federa-tion's Big Fish contest were awarded at the meeting. Nolan Stokes received a $50 cash award for the largest fish caught during the season in the senior division. Two young men, Clair Adams and Brent Nelson, tied for first place in the junior division, and the federation presented each of them with a fly rod, the an: nounced prize for the winner in the junior division. |
