Show Cedar M-Men Cage Teams Swing Into Play Nine basketball teams representing repre-senting the Cedar Stake teed-off on the M -Men basketball league schedule last Monday night at the Cedar City high school gymnasium. gym-nasium. Games will be played each week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings with the games starting at 6 p. m. In the initial game of the league season the Second Ward edged the Fourth Ward by a: score of 47 to 41. The game was the closest in the first two nights of play. Other contests, which were a little of the lopsided variety, var-iety, saw the L D S Institute wallop wal-lop the Fifth Ward 57 to 29 while the Third Ward trounced Kanar-raville Kanar-raville 50 to 29 in the final game of the first evening. Tuesday evening the Second Ward and the Third Ward both ; scored victories to give the two I teams a fast two win and no loss ' record. The Second Ward scored Its victory over the Fifth Ward by a score of 37 to 21. and the I Third Ward Trimmed the Sixth ! Ward 46 to 16 for its second win.
