Show Escaping Teenagers Indefinite on Transportation Mode An automobile stealing episode seldom equalled ended in Beaver "Tuesday afternoon for two escapees escap-ees from the State Industrial School at Ogden. The two boys, 14 and 16 years of age, escaped from the SGhool Monday afternoon, officers report re-port and began their car stealing steal-ing episode. It is reported that thy first obtained a 1948 Ford at Ogden and drove it to Layton, where they abandoned it and took a 1947 DeSoto. which they drove to Payson. Here they exchanged ex-changed the DeSoto for a 1954 lord, and drove back to Provo, where they traded for a 1947 Mercury, Mer-cury, and drove to Nephi. At Nephi they abandoned the Mercury, Mer-cury, and took a 1948 pickup, ddving it to Beaver. At Beaver they were appie-hended appie-hended by Gordon Farnsworth, highway patrolman, and Gerald Nosers, Beaver City police olfi-I olfi-I eer, and returned to Ogden. |
