Show Stringfellow Talk To Highlight Election Meeting Nominations have been made for the annual election of officers for the Parowan Chamber of Commerce which is being held tonight, Thursday, in the form of a dinner meeting at which Congressman Con-gressman Douglas R. Stringfellow Stringfel-low will be the principal speaker, speak-er, it is announced by Dr. L. W. i Sorenson, president of the orgarv ization. S. M. Clark and R. L. Fenton will oppose each other for the office of president of the chamber. cham-ber. J. W. Moore and Marvin Graff are nominees for vice president pres-ident and Silas Topham and Kenneth Joseph are opposing each other for secretary-treasurer. Three members of the board will be elected, one from each of the towns adjacent to Parowan Paro-wan with the following men to oppose each other for these positions: po-sitions: Alma "Lawrence and Ray Farrow, Summit; Tommy Abbott and Alma Topham, Paragonah, and Roland Anderson and George D. Grimshaw from Enoch. Members Mem-bers of the nominating committee commit-tee were W. Clair Rowley, J. Harold Har-old Mitchell and D. Watson Adams. |
