Show CLUB NOTES Mrs. Ralph Box Tuesday evening Mrs. L. R. Mc-Connell Mc-Connell was hostess to the ladies of her club at a bridge party with a light dessert being served. Ladies present were Mrs. Wilbur Hazel, Mrs. Paul Stewart, Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith, Miss Ethel Fife, Mrs. Hugh Cheever, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Arthur Burn-ham. Burn-ham. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Arrowsmith, Mrs. Cheever and Mrs. Stewart. A light luncheon was served to the members of Mrs. Charles Blackburn's ladies club Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Guests at the luncheon lunch-eon included Mrs. Miles Waters, Mrs. Gordon Wood, Mrs. Melvin Baldwin, Mrs. Chester Cripps, Mrs. LaVar Hirschi, Mrs. Keith Cripps, Mrs. Gam Hirschi, Mrs. Bud Chamberlain, Mrs. Carlos Black, Mrs. Jack Thuet and Mrs. Hal Stout. The remaiuder of the evening was spent playing pinochle. pi-nochle. Members of the Twinkler's Club met Thursday evening at the Masonic Temple for their regular meeting with Mrs. Fred La Frentz presiding. Following Follow-ing the business meeting a social so-cial was held with Mrs. Ernest Royne as hostess, assisted by Mrs. Fred Bunnell and Mrs. Ralph Box. The evening was enjoyed en-joyed playing cards. Ladies of the Wednesday club were the guests of Mrs. Max Cowan for luncheon followed by an enjoyable evening of bridge Special guests in attendance were Miss Mary Leone Haight, Mrs. Richard Heyborne and Mrs. Kent Dover. Prizes were won by Mrs. Evan Dobson and Mrs. J. N. Fisher. Beta Sigma Phi held its regub' meeting and social Thursday at the home of Mrs. Grant Seaman. Sea-man. Mrs. I"ranck Leany was fiiest speaker discussing lur trie ,;roup some of the aspects ct interior in-terior decoration. Following the meeting luncheon was server to 15 members by the hostess. The Cedar City Lad., Lions will rpen the festive season Saturday, Satur-day, Nov. 28 with an Apron and Overall dance to beheld at Hotel El Escalante ballroom. Mrs. Dec Cowan, chairman for the dance announces that the theme for the annual Lions Club Minstrel will be used. The dance will open with two hours of square dancing danc-ing followed by a floor show of community talent followed by a session of modern dancing. Mrs. Haldow Christensen was hostess Friday afternoon at her home for the ladies of the MW club. A dessert luncheon wa served to Mrs. Henry Smith, Mrs. Herbert Milne, Mrs. Preston Wood, Mrs. Mel Ence, Mrs. John Brown, Mrs. George Hunter, Mrs. Milo Corry, Mrs. Darwin Nelson, Mrs. Hyrum Perry, Mrs. . King Stevenson, Mrs. M. D. Arns, and Mrs. Arthur Nelson. Plans were discussed for the club Christmas party. Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. MacDonald the members of the dinner bridge club met for an enjoyable evening eve-ning get-together. Places were set for Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Paulson, Paul-son, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Standi-fird, Standi-fird, Mr. and Mrs. John Row-berry, Row-berry, Mr. and Mrs. James Amend and Dr. and Mrs. L. V.
