Show NEWCASTLE Mildred Tullls The Ward Relief Society was reorganized and the new officers sustained Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Harriet Jones is the new president. presi-dent. Her counselors are Vivien Knell and Verona Christensen. Retiring officers vere Mildred Tullis, Georgia Harrison and Harriet Har-riet Jones. The Relief Society officers and visiting teachers attended the stake visiting teachers convention conven-tion in Panaca Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. Miss Chloe Ann Drake of St. George was a recent visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet. Mrs. Clarence Butler of Boulder City, Nev. Is spending the week with her mother, Mrs. Geneva Gillies. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Creel of Tooele attended sacrament meet ing Sunday and had their baby christened by their brother Sherman Sher-man Beacham. Mrs. Effie Beach-am Beach-am of Cedar City, mother of Mrs. Creel, was also present for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Stirling Tullis and Cleo and Kirk attended the graduation exercises of their daughter Colleen, from the U. S. A. C. at Logan Saturday morning. morn-ing. Colleen will spend part of the summer at the college where she has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen spent part of last week visiting relatives and friends In Delta and Brigham City, Utah. Mrs. Alice Bishop of Delta, was a recent visitor at the home of Mrs. Ida Tullis. |
