Show June Nuptial Vows Recited by Robinson and White By Nora Lund Miss Shirley Robinson of Para-gonah Para-gonah became the bride of Dee White of Summit in impressive rites at the home of the bride's parents Saturday evening, June . 4. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Bishop Victor R. Robinson, uncle of the bride. Beautiful flower arrangements added to the lovely occasion. The school auditorium was the setting for a reception later in the evening. Special out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rhodes and Marilyn, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Thompson, Ogden; Mrs. Dorothy Nikel, Dixie and Beverly, Spring City; Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Burns, Kenneth and Sandy; Joyce Greenhalgh and Elta Jones, Nephl; Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Smith, Big Bear, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Keith. Ingle-: wood, Calif., in addition to many relatives and friends from Paro-wan, Paro-wan, Summit, Enoch, Cedar City and Beaver. For the occasion the bride wore a gown of nylon net over satin, a creation of her own. Her finger-tip veil fell from a fitted lace bonnet, trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of red roses. In the receiving line besides the bridal pair were their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Revere Robinson Rob-inson and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert White. Mrs. Janine Manzlone was matron of honor for her sister, while Miss Dixie Nickel and Miss Rayma Thornton were bridesmaids; brides-maids; Nancy Robinson and Jeanne White were flower girls, with Kenneth Burns performing the "duties of best man for his cousin. Victor R. Robinson was master of ceremonies at the reception, announcing the following program: pro-gram: vocal numbers by Ruth Jensen, Jackie Ward, Rula Orton and Wm. T. Davenport. Accordion trio by Duane Lamoreanx, Heb-er Heb-er Lund, and Kenneth Topham. Reading, Joan Lamoreaux, and appropriate remarks by Oscar Hulet. In charge of the gift room were Dora Wade, Dorothy Nickel, Donna Don-na Jollev, Hettie Anne Bentley, Lillian Thompson, Geniel Rhodes Vickie Robinson, Beverlv Nickel and Marilyn Rhodes. Mrs. Lillis Spencer provided organ music as the guests assembled. Refreshments were served and dancing climaxed the evening of entertainment. After a short honeymoon the couple will make their home In I Summit for the summer. |
