Show New Enoch Chapel Dedication Linked to Conference President W. Clair Rowley informs us that the new Enoch Ward chapel will definitely be dedicated at the coming quarterly quarter-ly conference of the Parowan Stake which will be held on Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday, Aug. 28 and 29, although which of the presiding pre-siding authorities of the church is to be here for the dedication hasn't been announced. The chapel dedication will in all probability take place during the afternoon general session on Sunday, Aug. 29 with the Enoch Ward choir furnishing the music for the occasion. The members of that ward have made a special effort to get the building ready for dedication at this time and President Rowley states that all work on the building will be completed by that time. Mr. Rowley adds that this is to be a welfare conference, with the welfare session to be held at 6:30 p. m. Saturday in the Parowan Paro-wan First-Second Ward chapel. This meeting will be followed by the regular Priesthood Leadership Leader-ship session at 8 p. m. at the same place. The Sunday morning general session will be held in the Parowan Paro-wan Third Ward chapel and will feature music by the Primary children of the stake. The M I A session of the conference will be held at 8 p. m. Several matters of business will be taken care of this conference, confer-ence, including the sustaining of a new member of the state high council to replace Otto Dalley, who is retiring from that body. Five new members will be added to the Seventies quorum of the stake and several missionaries are to be interviewed. i |
