Show i American Legion Post Reorganized With New Officers The Parowan Post No. 20 .of the American Legion was re-organized at a meeting last Friday Fri-day evening, with Garry Bentley, veteran of World War II being named as commander for the coming year. Other officers for the coming year elected at the meeting are as follows: Eugene Orton, first vice commander; com-mander; Earl F. Skougard, second sec-ond vice commander; Ralph Orton, Or-ton, adjutant; Troy Cawood, service ser-vice officer; Lyle Halterman, finance fi-nance officer; Victor Robinson, chaplain; Bruce Decker, athletic officer, and Jack Dalton and Reed Orton, sergeants-at-arms. Officers of the post who have served for the past year and who will retire at the installation program pro-gram Include: Bain Matheson, commander; T. A. Topham, first vice commander; Sam Pritchard, second vice commander; Ken Joseph, adjutant, Taylor Miller, chaplain; Carlyle Hulet, athletic officer, and LeRoy Adams and Bruce Matheson, sergeants-at-arms. The new officers of the Le-oion Le-oion and also the American Le gion Auxiliary, who were elected some time ago will be installed next Tuesday, Aug. 17. The installation in-stallation ceremonies will be held at the Five Mile recreation recrea-tion center Tuesday evening in connection wilh a beef barbecue supper and program. District and state officers of the two organization organi-zation will be in attendance and take part in the installation, according ac-cording to Bain Matheson. retiring retir-ing commander.
