Show Local Anglers Take Large Catches Say Wildlife Officers Things arc looking up around southern Utah and particularly in the Cedar City area according accord-ing to reports from angler who have taken to the field the last week. Although very few hit; ones have been taken from the lakes and streams, still the number num-ber per catch is increasing, according ac-cording to local wildlife federation federa-tion officials. Kay Cutler brought in the largest larg-est catch of the week from Pan-guitch Pan-guitch Lake, a one pound 11 ounce rainbow trout and won a prize donated by Center Grocery in the weekly big fish contest. In the junior division Jack Carpenter Car-penter topped the field with a one pound seven ouncer that won a prize donated by Cedar City Drug Co. Dr. R. O. Williams and Leon Cheever are leading the season contest in the senior and junior divisions respectively, to day. Dr. Williams holds the lead with a ttur pound four ounce weigh-In. |
