Show Ten Leading Teams To Perform in Softball Tournament I'm. (I pieparations are now under un-der way I lie annual Southern I t. ill Softball Tournament sponsored spon-sored by the Cedar City Softball Association. According to the latest lat-est word the tourney will include 10 top teams from southern l.'tah and eastern Nevada. Dates for the four-day affair have been set for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. IS, 1!). 20 and 21. Four games will be played on the fii't two days and three each of the last two days. Under the schedule which will include championship and consolation conso-lation play, one of the three top teams will play a double header in the final evening of play with the consolation championship g;me to be plased between the tw o. At this date definite commitments commit-ments have been received from several of the teams with Mil-ford Mil-ford the first to file an official entry. Cedar City teams to participate parti-cipate include Columbia, Utah Construction, Bradshaw Chevrolet and Iron County Record. SI. Ceorge, enterprise. Utah Parks Company, Pioche and Cali-ente, Cali-ente, Nev. will make up the remaining re-maining teams, officials state. Utah Parks will bring in a team composed of employees from the local staff, and those placed in (iranil, Zion and liryce canyons.
